Serving non-cat related content for nearly 9 years

For those old Internet users, you may recall what the majority of websites were like back in the late 90's. Yes, cats mainly. Long before LOLCats the web was full of these sites. I was not one of them.

The discovery of my old blog was an eye opener. For starters, I regularly made more than 1 post per month, rather than 1 every couple of months. It may have had something to do with my divorce in 2003 leaving me with a lot of time on my hands, but I certainly did post more that these days. Hopefully, 9 years on, that will change and I will spout less crap than I did those days.

What also surprised me was one article written back in 2004 and that I still receive the letters I cited in my blog post about the Domain Registry of America. What I find unbelievable is that 6 years on and they are still trying this scam.

The next blog that tickled me is the one back in April 2004, "What's in a word?". This posting still gets brought up in meetings. Even though the post was extremely brief, it dos make a valid point. We all use words in different contexts with different meaning, and just assume that the people we are talking to, understand.

The final thing that really amused me, was just how many times I tried to make the commitment to regular updates. I'm not gonna make that mistake again.

Anyway, back to rooting around in my websites dusty past...
