Happy New Year - Blogs

Well 2013 is here and the world did not end (again). I hold no words of wisdon to welcome the new year in, however, I do intend that 2013 is going to be better than 2012 and TBH 2012 was pretty grand. I hope you all had a good festive period and the weather was not too dissapointing.

I have made no real resolutions this year but have a few goals that I intend to acheive. One being to continue posting on this site (hmm, where have I heard that before), but I do intend on getting some of the areas of the site a bit more organised and up to date.

As I received a breadboard for the Raspberry Pi, I will be enjoying delving in to the realm of the Raspberry PI GPIO, so I will let you know how that goes.

Another gadget I recieved over the festive period was a LiveScribe Echo Smart Pen, so I'm going to have fun seeing how much I can make use of it and play about with, but first I have to figure out why, under Windows 7, the trackpad on my laptop gets disabled when the pen is connected via USB and of course install the community linux software.
